Elevate your culinary experience with Dunar Basmati Rice Elonga, packaged in a convenient 10-pound bag. "Elonga" refers to the exceptional grain length after cooking—a hallmark of superior Basmati rice.

This premium rice is carefully processed and aged to achieve its distinctive, delicate aroma and flavour. When cooked, the grains dramatically elongate, remain separate, and are light and fluffy, making it the perfect choice for high-end cuisine where presentation and texture are essential.

Key Features of Dunar Basmati Elonga:

  • Exceptional Grain Length: Grains significantly lengthen when cooked, often more than twice their original size.

  • Aromatic Delight: Boasts the signature Basmati fragrance that enriches any meal.

  • Non-Sticky Texture: The grains cook up light, fluffy, and separate—ideal for curries, biryanis, and pilafs.

  • Generous Size: The 10-pound bag is perfect for frequent home cooks and families, ensuring you always have quality rice on hand.

Dunar Basmati Elonga guarantees a perfect, flavourful, and visually appealing rice dish every time.

For the best results, use the absorption method:

  1. Rinse & Soak (Optional but Recommended): Gently rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water 2-3 times until the water runs mostly clear. For maximum elongation, soak the rice in fresh water for 30 minutes, then drain.

  2. Combine: Place the rinsed/soaked rice in a pot with 1.5 cups of water (for drier rice) or 1.75 cups of water (for softer rice) and a pinch of salt.

  3. Boil: Bring the water to a rapid, rolling boil on high heat.

  4. Simmer & Steam: Immediately reduce the heat to the absolute lowest setting, cover the pot tightly with a lid, and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes. Do not lift the lid.

  5. Rest: Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest, covered, for another 5-10 minutes. This completes the cooking and helps the rice absorb remaining steam.

  6. Fluff & Serve: Gently fluff the rice with a fork before serving to separate the long grains.
